#BigBlueTest diabetes grantee: Aprendiendo a Vivir, Dominican Republic

http://BigBlueTest.org is a program of the Diabetes Hands Foundation: http://diabeteshandsfoundation.org

$250,000 in grants to humanitarian diabetes charities have been awarded in connection with the Big Blue Test since 2010.

One of these groups is Aprendiendo a Vivir, an NGO in the Dominican Republic, founded by José Antonio López and directed by Sandra Jaquez. Aprendiendo a Vivir runs programs that give resources and diabetes education courses to people in the Dominican Republic.

To make the camp possible, Aprendiendo a Vivir collaborates with Ayuda, Inc., a U.S. based organization that works with youth to develop them into counselors that can help communities of people with diabetes worldwide. Ayuda, Inc. was a Big Blue Test grantee and received a $25,000 grant in 2012 to support their work in the Dominican Republic and Ecuador. In 2013, they are a grantee again.

You can help change the world. Between October 15 and November 14, do the Big Blue Test. Help yourself. Help others: http://bigbluetest.org
