Between Oct. 14 and Nov. 14, 2013 do the #BigBlueTest. Help yourself. Help others. Join the movement at http://bigbluetest.org

Each entry will be matched by a life-saving donation to help people with diabetes in need get insulin and other diabetes supplies they need to live.

Over 40,000 people have done the Big Blue Test since 2010. When you participate in the Big Blue Test, not only do you experience a 20% average drop in blood sugar, but a donation is made by the program sponsor to help others around the world with diabetes in need.

The Big Blue Test encourages people with diabetes to test their blood sugar, exercise for 14-20 minutes, test again and share their experience on BigBlueTest.org. For every test, people with diabetes in need receive life-saving supplies through Big Blue Test grants that are awarded to humanitarian diabetes charities in the US and around the world, made possible thanks to the program sponsor.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcScjI-cZNI

June 8, 2012, musician Brett Ryan Stewart, who happens to have diabetes, participated in a live chat and offered a mini-concert to members of the TuDiabetes community.

Having songs appear on numerous soundtracks, including a recent feature on the hit Fox TV show, “So You Think You Can Dance”, this Nashville based Singer-Songwriter has a distinct indie/pop sound peppered with a southern influence which named him “…a talent worth watching!” by Performing Songwriter Magazine.

Stewart’s songs have also been featured by Heineken and Microsoft, and he held the #1 spot on Neil Young’s “Living With War Today” charts for over 3 months. Relix Magazine recently showcased him in their “On The Rise” section and featured one of his songs on their compilation CD, alongside Wilco.

TuDiabetes 5 yrs: give us $5 (or more if you can)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiBtvS5ZnKY

http://td5years.causevox.com
Five years ago this month, we started TuDiabetes because we saw a problem: too many people with diabetes were feeling isolated instead of benefiting from the shared experience they could have by connecting to other people with diabetes.

Today, Diabetes Hands Foundation’s vast networks allow members to find support locally and globally. We connect advocates, artists, dreamers and thinkers so that all of us may live a more expansive life with diabetes.

On our fifth birthday, please help us keep going strong in our mission to improve the lives of people living with diabetes worldwide.
